Abstract

The paper considers an approach to predicting the risks of emergency situations in transport and improving its safety. The authors show that the forecasting of risks in railway transport is determined by the processes of deformation and destruction at dangerous points in highly loaded zones of critical elements of transport objects. Managing the degradation of transport facilities by using diagnostic systems and innovative technologies at all stages of the life cycle ensures that it is safer and more secure from emergencies.
