Who Are They?

Abstract

I have been assigned to the Global Money Desk (GMD) team. The GMD team is tasked with the development and maintenance of an application to assist in ensuring compliance with international banking regulatory requirements. The application is written in java with an SQL server database backend. ● An intern side project in python to automate and streamline the interview process. ● Migration of GMD in Jenkins from an ant build to a gradle build. ● Testing and test driven development of the GMD project. The bank has an excellent system of e-learning courses and seminars on various topics that cover all areas the bank has business in. These include programming, scrum training and financial services. I personally used it as an oppurtunity to learn more about how the market operates. ● A greater focus on testing and test driven development in college, as it is best practice in general to use them as such. ● Showing how to use and create ant and gradle builds systems. And Quartz the bank's inhouse version control and development framework.
