Education development in Indonesia cannot be separated from various foundations, especially in the flow of philosophy in implementing education. One of them is the educational philosophy of progressivism which underlies various aspects of education. For this reason, it is necessary to study how the philosophy of progressivism has contributed to the Indonesian language education curriculum. This research is a descriptive qualitative method. The research was conducted using library research by searching for previous literature. The research was conducted by examining relevant references related to the philosophy of language, the philosophy of progressivism, and the language education curriculum in Indonesia. The results show that the philosophy of progressivism contributes to the language curriculum, starting from the syllabus, methodology, strategies for dealing with individual differences, assessment, research, and evaluation. Abstract

This paper discusses the philosophy of progressivism in the Indonesian language education curriculum. Education development in Indonesia cannot be separated from various foundations, especially in the flow of philosophy in implementing education. 本文探讨了印尼语教育课程中的进步主义哲学。印尼教育的发展离不开各种基础,尤其是教育实施过程中的理念流动。其中之一是进步主义的教育哲学,它是教育各个方面的基础。因此,有必要研究进步主义哲学对印尼语教育课程的贡献。本研究采用描述性定性方法。本研究采用图书馆研究的方法,搜寻以往的文献。这项研究是通过查阅有关语言哲学、进步主义哲学和印度尼西亚语言教育课程的相关参考资料进行的。结果表明,进步主义哲学从教学大纲、方法论、处理个体差异的策略、评估、研究和评价等方面对语言课程有所贡献。此外,语言哲学思维的发展影响了印尼语言教学的实践,即存在着以传统语言学、结构语言学和系统功能语言学为基础的印尼语言教学。
