Teachers have an important role in the habituation of the implementation of Islamic teachings. Islamic Religious Education aims to prepare pious individuals who carry out Islamic religious teachings, and to prepare individuals who understand Islam (mutafaqqih fiddin). This study aims to find out the role and strategy of the fiqh teacher in increasing the activity of congregational prayers at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Kulon Progo, D.I. Yogyakarta. This study used a descriptive qualitative research method. The subjects of this study were Head of MAN 1 Kulon Progo, Fiqh teachers of MAN 1 Kulon Progo, and the students of MAN 1 Kulon Progo. Data collection was carried out by observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation to complement the data obtained from observations and interviews. The data validation was used source triangulation and technical triangulation, while data analysis was carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the role of the fiqh teacher in the activeness of congregational prayers of MAN 1 Kulon Progo students is as an activator, someone who encourages students to pray in congregation; and the fiqh teacher also acts as a companion for students in conducting congregational prayers. The strategy of the fiqh teacher in increasing the activity of congregational prayers of MAN 1 Kulon Progo students are the fiqh teacher applies the habituation method; special guidance methods; and the teacher has not applied the method of punishment or sanctions.

Most students were unable to solve math problems when the questions were changed to word problems, students could not understand nor were they able to solve math word problems. This study aims to describe students' errors based on Newman's procedure in solving word problems in terms of cognitive style and describe the causes of their errors. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques written tests and interviews. The results of the study showed high cognitive students made mistakes on process skills, moderate cognitive students also made mistakes on process skills and low cognitive students made mistakes on the stages of reading questions, question transformation and process skills. The causes of errors made by students based on the Newman procedure are, students do not understand the questions well, students are confused about the steps for working on the questions, students are in a hurry to work on the questions, are not thorough in working on the questions, lack of mastery of the material, are not used to writing or using units and students are not used to working on math word problems. This research is based on a theoretical concept that views literature as a medium for realizing educational values for every community group. The research objective is to describe the educational values contained in the novel. This research uses a structural approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection uses documentary techniques. Data analysis was carried out with the following steps: (1) carefully reading the novel which was the object of research; (2) noting the parts of the novel in the form of words, phrases, sentences, expressions and statements that contain educational values; (3) classifying the data based on the types of educational values contained in the novels read; and (4) describe educational values. The results of the study show that the educational values contained in the novel Api Tauhid: Cahaya Keagungan Cinta Sang Mujaddid are (1) the value of honesty, (2) love of peace, (3) the spirit of nationalism, and (4) the value of appreciating achievement. These four values are categorized as educational values because they contain teachings that form the basis of the ideals of the Indonesian nation in general which are integrated through various educational institutions, both formal and non-formal, as well as various literary works such as novels.

This study aims to explain the implementation of learning with digital media and its implementation efforts in a comprehensive manner. For this reason, this study uses a qualitative approach, with the research location at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Aceh Besar. The results of the study show that at this madrasa, the learning method has begun to change from completely conventional methods to limited digital learning. This change began during the Covid-19 pandemic. After the Covid-19 pandemic, teachers and students are still using communication technology media, especially outside school hours. This method is used to complete learning that has not been completed or that students still need to ask the teacher. Comprehensive changes to the learning method to digital learning in this madrasa, are closely related to the establishment of this madrasa as an innovation madrasa, which is expected to school principals, teachers, students and parents of students to create innovations in increasing student achievement in both academic and non-academic dimensions. The academic and non-academic achievements that have been achieved by these madrasah students are also supported by the information and communication technology facilities available at the madrasa. As an innovation madrasa, the digital learning method with the blended method is an option. This selection has a positive impact, both based on learning theory and practical experience expressed by practitioners. To go towards the blended method, one class is set as an example.

This study describes the application of snakes and ladders media in biology subjects with excretion material to improve student learning outcomes. The application of snakes and ladders media aims to increase student motivation and enthusiasm in the teaching and learning process, because it is packaged in learning activities while playing so that it is expected to have a positive impact which can be seen from the increase in student learning outcomes. The study applied classroom action research (CAR) using the Kemmis and M.C. Taggart. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Tehoru with a population of 30 students in class VII and was carried out in two cycles. Where is the first cycle in the initial test with 13.34% of students who complete with an average value of 45.50. Whereas in the last test of cycle I there was an increase of 76.67% of students who passed with an average score of 67.89 for that reason the research was continued in cycle II and experienced an increase of 90.00% with an average score of 76.33.

This article discusses the importance of introducing students to buying and selling practices in traditional Acehnese dayah at an early age in order to foster their entrepreneurial spirit. The significance of developing the entrepreneurial spirit of students in traditional Acehnese Islamic boarding schools as a means of enhancing future economic security. The research methodology then employs a descriptive-qualitative approach and the technique of purposive sampling. The findings indicate that entrepreneurship in dayah contributes significantly to the spiritual, academic, and social development of students. Buying and selling is an integral part of the curriculum and daily routine at the Islamic boarding school, allowing students to develop entrepreneurial skills and a competitive mindset. In addition, the practice of buying and selling helps students comprehend ethical principles and business responsibilities. This practice also strengthens the dayah's role as a center for entrepreneurship education, where students can develop business ideas, share knowledge, and work together to overcome obstacles. In conclusion, the practice of buying and selling at an Early childhood child in traditional Acehnese dayah has the potential to increase the entrepreneurial spirit of santri and encourage their participation in community development and regional economic growth. Implementing this practice in traditional Acehnese dayah is an important step in preparing students to face future challenges in the business world with greater preparedness.

Games as learning media have not received a portion of attention in the world of education. This paper aims to explain that through game-based group services can foster an attitude of tolerance. The study is based on a qualitative research type with data sources in the form of observation and literature studies. The study findings show that playing Uno is considered capable of forming an attitude of tolerance through group counseling services. The UNO game with a group counseling service approach is considered capable of forming an attitude of tolerance. This can be seen from the UNO game process which contains the value of togetherness and respect for differences. In group counseling, the UNO card simulation game technique is an alternative to foster tolerance in diversity. The UNO card simulation game by forming a circle can increase intimacy, unity and kinship between members. The discussion process that is built in this technique is considered to be able to train individuals to control themselves, respect and respect various differences of opinion. Thus, playing UNO in groups can form an attitude of togetherness and tolerance for cultural, religious and ethnic differences. This study suggests the need to use games in building an attitude of tolerance, especially in the process of multicultural learning in educational institutions.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using audio-visual media on learning at MTsN 3 Aceh Barat. The method that researchers use in this study is a quantitative method. Data collection methods used are interview methods, observation methods, questionnaire methods and documentation methods. The number of samples was 2 classes, namely class 8c and 8e, which were taken using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. The hypothesis in this study (H0) is that the use of audio-visual media affects learning at MTsN 3 in West Aceh. While the hypothesis (H1) is the use of audio-visual media does not affect learning at MTsN 3 in West Aceh. Based on the results of the research, the correlation coefficient on the results above shows 0.673 or is negative so that the relationship between the variables is in a different direction. This can be interpreted that the audio-visual media factor will not affect the learning conditions at MTsN 3 Aceh Barat. With a significance of 0.673> 0.05 that audio-visual media has no significant relationship with learning conditions at MTsN 3 Aceh Barat.

The number of samples was 2 classes, namely class 8c and 8e, which were taken using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. The hypothesis in this study (H0) is that the use of audio-visual media affects learning at MTsN 3 in West Aceh. While the hypothesis (H1) is the use of audio-visual media does not affect learning at MTsN 3 in West Aceh. Based on the results of the research, the correlation coefficient on the results above shows 0.673 or is negative so that the relationship between the variables is in a different direction. This can be interpreted that the audio-visual media factor will not affect the learning conditions at MTsN 3 Aceh Barat. The use of peer assessment in EFL teaching is increasing due to the focus shift from teacher-centered to student-centered approach. However, factors such as attitudes, motivation, language proficiency and relationship bias are believed to contribute to the effectiveness of peer assessment. This paper aims to analyze how the factors affect the effectiveness of peer assessment implementation in EFL teaching. The method used to analyze is a literature review by examining fifteen prior studies of peer assessment use in EFL context. It is found that there are three factors that affect the effectiveness of peer assessment implementation in EFL setting, which are students’ attitude and motivation, students’ English proficiency, and students’ relationship-bias. All these three factors can be interfered with teacher supports such as by describing the benefits of peer assessment to students, pairing the students with same-level of English proficiency, and applying anonymous evaluation. It is suggested that these three factors need to be carefully considered by teachers in EFL context in order to achieve the success of peer assessment implementation.

This paper discusses the philosophy of progressivism in the Indonesian language education curriculum. Education development in Indonesia cannot be separated from various foundations, especially in the flow of philosophy in implementing education. One of them is the educational philosophy of progressivism which underlies various aspects of education. For this reason, it is necessary to study how the philosophy of progressivism has contributed to the Indonesian language education curriculum. This research is a descriptive qualitative method. The research was conducted using library research by searching for previous literature. The research was conducted by examining relevant references related to the philosophy of language, the philosophy of progressivism, and the language education curriculum in Indonesia. The results show that the philosophy of progressivism contributes to the language curriculum, starting from the syllabus, methodology, strategies for dealing with individual differences, assessment, research, and evaluation. In addition, the development of philosophical thinking about language affects the practice of language teaching in Indonesia, namely the existence of Indonesian language teaching based on traditional linguistics, structural linguistics, and systemic functional linguistics.
