This study used a survey research design by integrating a mixed-method, in which the data was analyzed in qualitative and quantitative ways. The participant of the study was students of English Education Study Program of Pattimura University in the academic year 2017. Classroom observation, a questionnaire, and interview were employed as the techniques in collecting the data. The result showed that 90% of the students have a positive attitude that note taking is important for them to gain information easily. Abstract

As one of the receptive English skills, listening has a significant role as a primary skill for daily communication. 学生对听力课堂笔记策略使用的认知
听力作为接受性英语技能之一,在日常交际中起着重要的作用。在学术环境中完成听力任务固然重要,但也必须引导学生使用更实用、更有效的听力策略来提高听力技能和听力能力。本研究的目的是调查学生对在听力课堂上做听力活动时记笔记的看法,并找出学生记笔记的好处和困难。本研究采用混合方法的调查研究设计,对数据进行定性和定量分析。本研究的参与者为Pattimura大学2017学年英语教育学习项目的学生。收集数据的方法包括课堂观察、问卷调查和访谈。结果表明,90%的学生有一个积极的态度,笔记是重要的,他们很容易获得信息。此外,从利与难的角度来看,学生对使用笔记的利大于弊的反应使学生能够按照要求完成听力活动。
