Gas ablation microorganisms, while breaking down methane, can promote the rapid decomposition of methane adsorbed in coal bodies. Compared with the conventional excavation method, the number of construction drilling holes decreased by about 92%, the total number of digging days decreased by 59 days, and the efficiency of coal extraction increased by 3.2 times.
