CAPAIAN HENDRAR PRIHADI SEBAGAI WALIKOTA SEMARANG

Abstract

THE ACHIEVEMENT HENDRAR PRIHADI AS A MAYOR OF SEMARANGHendrar Prihadi was the deputy mayor of Semarang from 2010-2013 and was later appointed as mayor, because Soemarmo HS, the previous mayor, was dismissed after being caught in a bribery case. During his leadership, Semarang turned into an advanced city, even as a reference for the development of other regions in Indonesia. The title as the most disadvantaged provincial capital city was successfully released. The purpose of this study was to find out the achievements of Hendrar Prihadi as the mayor of Semarang. This research method uses library research. The results of this study show the achievements of Hendrar Prihadi as the mayor of Semarang which consists of: being used as a reference in the field of public services, the successful implementation of smart city, innovative health services, tourism development to become a reference in the area of efficiency in regional development, and success in developing the Development Index Human. These achievements are now an example for other regions in Indonesia.
