Abstract

In this article, the authors study bitmap indexing for temporal querying of faces that appear in videos.Sincethebitmapindexisoriginallydesignedtoselectasetofrecordsthatsatisfyavalue inthedomainoftheattribute,thereisnoclearstrategyforhowtoapplyitfortemporalquerying.
