The types of the apparatus for carrying out the transesterification and esterification reaction were considered. The vortex reactor for the biodiesel synthesis is proposed. This apparatus ensures the intensification of alcohol and lipid layers mixing. Advantages of vortex reactor: compactness, low power consumption, simplicity of the design and maintenance, lack of cooling system. A reactor with a heterophasic catalyst is proposed for the esterification process. Abstract
The technology of composite fuel synthesis, which improves operational properties and environmental properties of diesel fuel, is proposed.
