Abstract

Person who are blind as well as nearly blind have trouble travelling securely through one place to the other. They find it more and more difficult to complete simple activities without substantially relying on others. Our suggested system seeks to offer a practical solution to this problem. In this system, barriers are located using ultrasonic sensors, while elevated surfaces like stairs are located with the aid of infrared sensors. Additionally, we employ ISD1820 to provide speech warnings in the event that a barrier is encountered. The user can communicate with the specified emergency contacts by using the characteristics of a panic button. The message provides the user’s GPs data to emergency contact’s. smart blind stick intend to offer the visually impaired community an affordable, effective, responsive, and lightweight alternative, quality of life, safety net, healthy life.
