Abstract
This paper presents the study of two dielectric loaded planar antenna structures suitable for ultra wideband (UWB) or dual-band applications. The effect of the dielectric loading on the antenna resonant frequency and impedance bandwidth is investigated. Simulation and measured results for the return loss are presented and compared.
