In Indonesia, the number of foreign tourist visits to Indonesia is slowly decreasing. Cumulatively from January to March in 2020, the number of tourists who came only reached 2.61 million people or dropped dramatically by 30.62 percent; compared to the same period last year, which was 3.76 million people. Compared to February, the number of tourist arrivals fell by 45.50 percent; compared to the same period last year, the decline was even more drastic, at 64.11 percent.
