Abstract

The coastal sandy beach is maintenance-free green infrastructure with self-restoring capability and it is expected to reduce high wave damages with the coastal forest. A number of valuable sand beaches are distributed as a conservation of ecosystems and sightseeing and landscape resources along the Kii Channel.
