The Wilcoxon test revealed that the triglyceride concentration decreased significantly after two months of treatment with ciprofibrate; from 621 (512 to 1046)mg/dL to 136 (67 to 215)mg/dL (p <0.0001). The difference in medians was -482.0md/dL with a 97.3% confidence interval of -579.0 to -443.0mg/dL.
