Abstract
Rehabilitation of the sit-to-stand movement may be made more effective by providing feedback about the underlying coordination pattern rather than movement parameters. Principal component analysis (PCA) was used to identify coordination modes in sit-to-stand. An algorithm of movement parameters was used to create a visual feedback signal representing this coordination mode in real-time.
