Abstract

Replacement of existing ground wires with OPGW under live-line conditions. This paper describes methods and examples of building fibre optics tract by different existing and actual methods on energized transmission line abroad and in Poland. In addition, an analysis of electromagnetic field induction from existing and nearby energized line when OPGW is being installed is presented. The paper also presents a newly built training polygon in Olsztyn for secure operation practice.
