Systematic Literature Review (SLR) Development of the IoT Industry in the Southeast Asian Region

Abstract

The Internet of Things is one of the main programs in the 4.0 industrial revolution. Several countries in Southeast Asia have developed industries that are supported by governments and academics. This growing industry is something that must be considered in developing a vocational education curriculum, to prepare student competencies so that they can participate in the flow of this revolution. Systematic Literature Review is used to identify industries that are currently or have been developed related to the Internet of Things in the Southeast Asian region. The results obtained are found on four IoT topics in different fields, the dominance of published research on the themes of Environment, Agribusiness, Health, and Industry. The study’s purpose was conducted to determine the distribution of IoT in the research that has been done. The analysis results are considered by the sector to be considered in the direction of building a useful curriculum learning related to the IoT field and future device innovation.
