Abstract

In this paper a linear time delay systems of retarded type are presented as a potential model that can capture the behavior of human arm movement. The line tracking experiment is designed to validate the performance of the proposed model. The issue of stability of the time delay systems is presented and the critical delays curve is computed to indicate the stable region of the system in the delay parameter space. The comparison of different subject is presented to show the application of time delay models in the area of human motion modeling.
