Abstract
Among existing surgical methods for treating atherosclerotic lesions of the arteries there are open, semi-closed and minimally invasive. Traumatization of open and semi-closed methods significantly exceeds the trauma caused by minimally invasive methods. The method of combined treatment is designed to combine the minimally invasive vascular surgery with the advantage of ultrasonic treatment of pathological tissue, which consists in the selectivity of the effect on the tissue. In this experimental study, we made a comparison between the efficiency of preliminary laser and cryogenic treatment of the cortex of the sheep kidney, and treatment of atherosclerotic plaque with high-frequency currents, with subsequent ultrasonic contact or hydrotreatment. During the preliminary treatment, a thin surface layer of carbonized tissue was obtained and then removed by ultrasonic treatment. Initial analysis of the results suggests that all the three pre-treatment methods are applicable for the combined method of ultrasonic treatment.
