Abstract

In the paper the new method of calculating the parameters of the cylindrical multilayered guiding structures based on model of equivalent radial transmission lines is used for estimating the characteristics of open dielectric waveguides. Proposed mathematical model is described based on previous publications. Ultimate simplifications are conducted analytically to prove the correctness of the considered expressions.
