Abstract

This paper proposes a novel energy management system using an energy management smart band (EMSB) and an intelligent smart plug (ISP). The proposed system cuts off standby power and controls temperature of an air conditioner considering users. Total power consumption was reduced by up to 12.5% using the proposed system.
