Rose Bengal Plate Test (RBPT), and serum agglutination test (SAT) were used to assay 162 and 56 serum samples collected from traditional herds and trade stock respectively. Results showed that RBPT detected 17.9% [95% (CI 17.4 to 18.4)] and SAT (10.5%) [95% (CI 10.1 to 10.8)] Brucella abortus seropositive cattle in the traditional herds.
