Estimating the function of tourism demand in Sudan (1990-2018).

Abstract

The study aimed to examine the relationship between some macroeconomic variables and the flow of tourists to the Republic of Sudan (1990-2018). The problem was summarized in the question: Is there a statistically significant relationship between some macroeconomic variables and the flow of tourists to the Republic of Sudan (1990-2018)? It assumed the existence of a statistically significant relationship between some macroeconomic variables and the flow of tourists to the Republic of Sudan (1990-2018). I used the descriptive approach and the statistical and standard approach. It reached several results, the most important of which are: The presence of a significant direct relationship of (0.97) linking the paved roads, the volume of investment, the inflation rate as independent variables, and the flow of tourists to Sudan (1990-2018) as a dependent variable. It recommended the need to pay attention to land transport services and to adopt the economic policies necessary to improve the local currency exchange rate, address the problem of inflation, and pay attention to investment projects
