Abstract

The problem of contactless research of a dielectric object using a broadband (millimetric, submillimetric, infra-red or optical) signal is considered. A photonic crystal (PC) proves to be efficient as the core element of an integral microcircuit for optical control in optical contactless measurement systems. Based on a software package developed at LAE, the numerical model of a compact PC-based microcircuit has been developed. The basic circuit of the device, functional units, and model of a microchip are presented.
