Abstract

This paper describes existing modern control methods of electric machine drives in general and tries to propose control methods for reluctance machines in particular. An overview analysis is carried out and features are brought out for each of the control methods and implementation possibilities for the control of reluctance machines is researched. Assumptions on the optimal control method for reluctance machine drives are made in the conclusion, which will be used as a basis for future work.
