Abstract

The stability of the workpiece during rolling depends on the compression stresses and the duration of the stresses. At low rolling speeds, creep deformation plays an important role. The influence of the accuracy of the shape of the workpiece and the location of the rolls and wires on improving the reliability of the mill is shown.
