Abstract

Website is the most important promotional media in the world of tourism, this development research was conducted to evaluate the website of the Banda Aceh city tourism office with the Mix Method research method, from the results of a qualitative approach using the purposive sampling method, development data were obtained which were classified into Content, Organization and Readability, Navigation and Links. , User Interface, Performance and Effectiveness. The development of a halal tourism website for the city of Banda Aceh is carried out using HTML, CSS and Javascript programming. After the website is developed, respondents will assess the usability of the website using a questionnaire distribution technique and non-probability sampling (accidental sampling) sampling method. The results of the data validation test, the instrument used in the questionnaire is valid because the values of x1, x2, x3, and x4 have a Pearson Correlation value greater than the value of 0.230 obtained from the r table. The value of x is also reliable from the results of the reliability test with the Croncbach Alpha Standard above 0.60. After testing the validity and reliability, the data were analyzed to obtain conclusions on the results of the development of the research using descriptive statistical analysis methods.
