Two of the major open source cloud middlewares are OpenStack and CloudStack. This paper provides a comparative study of these two cloud middlewares regarding its implementation complexity, overall stability and performance comparison using Unixbench and Bonnie++ benchmarks. Experiment results show that OpenStack perform better in most scenarios in a single node environment. Abstract
Even though of its very recent origins, Cloud Computing has matured into a main stream technology over the past few years.
