The evaluation of teaching performance in Ecuadorian higher education plays a fundamental role in the search for educational excellence and continuous improvement in higher education institutions in the country. This periodic and systematic evaluation has as its main objective to ensure the quality of teaching, promote the academic training of teachers and guarantee an enriching learning environment for students.
