In this paper, we first propose a scheduling problem taking account of multiple sub-warehouses and multiple cranes. In order to study the problem, we constructed and validated a system prototype using Petri net model and then propose a two stage hybrid scheduling algorithm, which finds a sub-optimal solution by starting from a feasible solution and solves the problem in a finite time. Abstract
The crane and ground scheduling is the most important part of the inventory management.
