Data collection techniques through interviews and documentation analysis. The results of this study indicate that the internal communication strategy is carried out through (1) a message strategy with the process of delivering information on changes that can motivate organizational members; (2) the communicator’s strategy is based on consideration of understanding of the information, the position held, and the proximity of the communicant; (3) media strategy, using media that are familiar to members of the organization; and (4) effects in the form of understanding and behavior that encourage organizational members to act. The communication process carried out has been successful in line with the implementation of organizational change. Abstract

The Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) as a research institution in Indonesia is carrying out changes in organizational structure and management.
