The analytic hierarchy process (AHP) was used to determine the weight of the indicators at all levels, and evaluate six urban main roads, six urban secondary main roads and six sidewalks beside access roads, which were selected randomly. Visually impaired people were then asked to evaluate the TGSIs in the pedestrian spaces along these roads. Statistical analysis and evaluation showed that the indicators used in the evaluation system were satisfactory. The evaluation results revealed problems with the standardization, safety, accessibility, continuity, comfort and aesthetics of TGSIs in the urban roadside pedestrian space of Gulou. Analysis of the combined data showed that travel conditions for the visually impaired are currently worse in the old city area than in the new city area and that they are worse in low-grade pedestrian space than along high-grade roads. 触觉地面指示器在实际使用中存在很多问题,目前正在进行的大量触觉地面指示器建设并不总是对视障群体的出行产生有益的影响。本文以南京市鼓楼区路边行人空间为例,建立了包括6个一级指标和24个二级指标的TGSI质量评价体系。采用层次分析法(AHP)确定各级指标的权重,对随机选取的6条城市主干道、6条城市次主干道和6条通道旁人行道进行评价。然后,视障人士被要求评估这些道路沿线行人空间的TGSIs。统计分析和评价表明,评价体系所采用的指标是令人满意的。评价结果揭示了鼓楼城市路边步行空间TGSIs在标准化、安全性、可达性、连续性、舒适性和美观性等方面存在的问题。综合数据分析表明,目前老城区视障人士的出行条件比新城区差,低等级步行街的视障人士出行条件比高等级道路的视障人士出行条件差。针对这些问题,提出了从完善TGSI结构、优化TGSI区位、完善TGSI体系、因地制宜实施四个方面提高南京市鼓楼区步行空间TGSI质量的策略。
