The measurement variables used were the overall blink rate, the frequency of blink duration > 500 ms (indicated as microsleep propensity), and ocular symptoms questionnaire. Abstract

Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS) is a complex problem in the eyes and vision that is related to computer use. Approximately 60% reduction in the frequency of blinking during computer use increases the risk of dry eyes and other symptoms related to CVS.
