Abstract
This paper presents a configuration to simulate floating admittance employing single voltage differencing current conveyor (VDCC) and two grounded passive elements. The proposed configuration can realize floating resistor or floating capacitor on proper selection of passive components. The value of simulated floating capacitance or floating resistance can be tuned electronically by varying the bias currents of VDCC. The proposed circuit does not need any matching constraints, has low sensitivity values and exhibit good non-ideal behaviour. To verify the working of proposed circuit, a low-pass filter has been designed and tested. The performance of presented configuration has been validated by SPICE Simulations.
