HUBUNGAN POLA ASUH ORANG TUA DENGAN PERKEMBANGAN KOGNITIF ANAK USIA 3-5 TAHUN DI TK AL-QODIRI JEMBER

Abstract

Democracy is the best type of parenting, because it combines two types of extreme nurturing that is not too restrained and not too free as well. Cognitive is the ability to think that includes a more simple intellectual ability, namely memorizing, remembering, understanding, application, knowing of causation caused problem solving of the problem. This research is conduct to analyse the corelational relationship of nurturing type with cognitive development of pre school children in TK Al – Qodiri Jember. T his is a correlational research with cross sectional approach. The research was conducted at TK Al-Qodiri Jember. The sample of research is kindergarten children total sample size is 30 children. The sampling technique uses total sampling. The data collected by questionnaire and analysed by using Chi Square test. The results obtained that there is a relationship between parenting patterns of democratic parents to the cognitive development of children in kindergarten AL-Qodiri Jember .
