Abstract

When the subway emergency occurs, the panic of passengers will extremely increase because of enclosed space of metro and the large population density, which may lead the spread of information faster and more complicated. The objective of this study is to investigate the process of passenger information dissemination under such circumstance. Based on the SIRS model and mean field theory, we develop a passenger information diffusion model. The model is modified to be suitable for passenger's habit that positive social reinforcement is considered.
