Rediscovering and Preserving Individual Psychology: A Mission to Be Continued

Abstract

ABSTRACT:Alfred Adler, the founder of Individual Psychology, created a holistic psychological system that has influenced the development of many other theories as well as counseling practice. This article presents a call to rediscover and preserve Individual Psychology by discussing its educational, social, and practical relevance in counseling and drawing attention to its current challenges. This article also provides implications for counseling and counselor training in light of rediscovering and preserving Individual Psychology.
