Abstract

A random routing scheme is proposed for mobile ad-hoc networks of non-real-time services. When packet transmission takes place, the intermediate relay nodes between the source node and the destination node are not known a priori. Through network control signaling, the relay nodes are determined by estimating the physical layer parameters, specifically the link quality between the source and the possible relay, the relative angular position and relative speed of the source and relay nodes with respect to the destination node.
