Abstract
This article actualizes the problem of improving the professional competence of college students through the use of project consulting. The concepts of professional competence of students are defined. The method of projects is considered as one of the effective ways to improve the professional competence of college students. The possibilities of project consulting in the formation of professional competence of students are revealed, which specific professional competencies are developed in students.
