Abstract

This paper explains about an 8-bit ALU using OAI logic. This architecture of the S-bit ALU uses 90nm CMOS technology. OR-AND-INVERT (OAI) logic is used in the design to reduce power consumption. There are four main components of ALU. They are AE, LE, CE and FA. All these blocks are designed in both CMOS and OAI logic.
