The aim of this article is to systematically review of work done by various researchers regarding WBEM and provide guidelines to adopt Efficient XML Interchange (EXI) binary xml technology instead of xml in the WBEM architecture so that more improved results may be achieved in the distributed heterogeneous network. Study reflects that selection of methodology and parameters are application specific.
