The complex allows to make water-energy calculations of HPP cascades, HPPs under construction and upgraded. Using the complex, can be determined the energy effect, i.e., increase in generation, of HPP cascade due to the construction of a new plant or the modernization of an existing one. The complex is developed in the Python programming language using the PyQt5 library, the calculations are optimized using the dynamic programming method. The calculation is made for the stage of pre-project assessment of the feasibility of building a hydroelectric power plant. The data for calculations were taken for the Kama hydroelectric power plant.
