Existing and proposedlayoutshavebeendrawnusingGIS-basedsoftwareQ-GIS2.12.3.Thissoftwarehelpsattach datawiththecorrespondinggeographic.AcomparisonbetweentheNewton-Raphsonloadflowstudy ofexistingandproposedlayoutsofdistributionsystemshasbeenperformedtofindthetechnical viabilityoftheproposedroute.Theinformationobtainedfromthepowerflowstudyisvoltageat eachloadandtherealpowerflowingineachline.Thevoltagesfoundbytheloadflowanalysisof existingandproposedlayoutsarecomparedtoshowthevoltageincrease.Thedevelopedsystem istestedona12bussystemsubstationofSikkimManipalInstituteofTechnology,Sikkim,India.
