Previously, developing sortie rates required three models, Regional Conflict Model (RCM), Logistics Composite Model (LCOM), and Flyer. Each model required its own input data and they were located in different agencies of the Air Force. The RCM model is no longer supported, LCOM requires large amounts of input data, and Flyer uses output of LCOM as part of its input. The SGR model requires little data and it is a one step process, which runs on a laptop computer.
