Abstract

Garbage collection and dumping of garbage is tedious job. Though lots of garbage bins are installed in various places nowadays but very few people use it. Moreover, when garbage becomes full it takes days to dump it and hence it overflows. In this paper, we propose a smart-bin which can collect garbage from the user by sensing the vicinity of the user by opening the lid or move to the location of the user when it is called using message. This design not collects garbage but also notifies when the smart-bin is full and also moves the dumping zone to dump the collected garbage. This paper considers a office room scenario and proposes the methodology accordingly.
