Abstract

Urban areas have an important role in increasing the attractiveness of the city as a comfortable place for socio-cultural life. People living in them feel their territorial belonging to their place of residence through daily contact with spatial organization, cultural and social infrastructure, the appearance of houses and streets, a chain of associated images. In the vast majority of cities, there is a strategy for the development of the territory, affecting, as a rule, the most important issues that require daily participation: retention of the able-bodied population, infrastructure development, search for investors, increasing tourist flow, and many others. To manage these processes, the city needs an attractive appearance and a positive image. This largely determines the vectors of development of the city and its individual districts. The characteristics of the level and quality of life are always a priority and are used in drawing up strategic plans for the socio-economic development of the state. They are the basic guideline of the socio-economic policy of the state.
