Abstract

A functional interval estimation method is proposed for Linear Parameter-Varying (LPV) multivariable systems with external disturbance and measurement noise. According to the interval analysis, the proposed estimator gives the upper and lower boundaries of the linear functional state. An L∞ criterion is used to enhance stability and estimation accuracy. The design conditions are stated in the form of Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs). Finally, a numerical example is considered to check the validity of the proposed methodology.
