Abstract

Paper deals with the evaluation of position sensor condition. Condition is sensed as the actual state of the sensor from the metrological viewpoint. Measurement range, nonlinearity, measurement uncertainty, and the optimum number of measurement have been tested on the selected sensor. The used sensor is based on the magnetostrictive principle for position measurement. Measurement chain has been designed for this purpose.
