Abstract

Analytical expressions for determining the geometric parameters of a stepped induction levitator have been obtained. They make it possible to simplify the solution of optimization problems. The resulting formulas take into account the allowable temperature rise of the windings, the limitation on the height of the windings, the dimensionless core coefficients and the minimum values of active power losses.
