Abstract
In this paper the distributed generation impact on the stability and control of power distribution networks is analyzed from the point of view of voltage limits and power losses. The analysis allows us to propose control actions optimizing the operation of a radial distribution network using elements such as transformers, capacitor banks and the distributed generation units themselves.
